Privacy policy
This policy explains what iByond does with personal information when you visit ibyond.com, and the choices you have. It covers this website. It does not cover the platforms we run for clients under a separate agreement.
1. Who we are
iByond operates this website and decides how the personal information described here is used. In data protection law that makes us the controller.
You can reach us at info@ibyond.com, or at any of our offices: 732 South 6th Street, Suite R, Las Vegas, Nevada 89101-6948, United States; 180148 Burj Gate, Downtown Dubai, Burj Khalifa Community, P.O. Box 71973, United Arab Emirates; 32 Curzon Street, Mayfair, London W1J 7WS, United Kingdom; Emilii Plater Street 53, 00-113 Warsaw, Poland.
2. What we collect, and why
When you write to us. The contact form asks for your name, your organisation if you give one, your email address and your message. We use it to answer you and to keep a record of the conversation. The basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and where you are asking about working together, the steps leading to a contract.
When you read the site. With your consent we measure which pages are read and for how long. That involves an identifier stored on your device, and a signature derived from your browser and device settings. We also receive your approximate country, your browser language and time zone, the page you came from, the pages you open, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. Outside the UK and the EEA we do this on the basis of our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used, and you can turn it off at any time.
If something goes wrong on a page. Our analytics can save a short recording of the last few seconds of a visit when a page throws an error or you click repeatedly in frustration. It records what moved on the page, not what you typed. Everything entered into a form is masked before it leaves your browser. This only happens where analytics is on.
Keeping the site up. Our web server records the usual things a web server records, including your IP address, for security and diagnosis. When you send the contact form we store a one-way hash of your IP address for one hour, to stop the form being flooded. The basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no advertising cookies and no third-party advertising tags.
If you are in the United Kingdom, the European Union or the wider EEA, nothing is stored on your device for analytics until you accept. You are asked once, the choice is remembered, and you can change it at any time through Privacy choices in the footer of every page. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal we treat that as a refusal and do not ask.
Elsewhere, analytics runs by default and the same footer link turns it off. Turning it off also deletes the identifier from your device.
Your consent choice is itself remembered on your device. That is the only thing stored without asking, because without it we could not honour your decision. We ask again after twelve months.
4. Who else handles it
We keep the list short and we do not sell personal information to anyone.
- Dijji provides the analytics described above and stores the resulting data on servers in India.
- Resend delivers the contact form to our mailbox. It is based in the United States.
- Microsoft hosts the mailbox the enquiry arrives in.
- Hostinger hosts this website on servers in Mumbai, India.
Each of them acts on our instructions. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
5. Where your information is held
This website and its analytics run on servers in India. Our mail passes through providers in the United States. Neither country is covered by a European Commission or United Kingdom adequacy decision, so where we move personal information there from the UK or the EEA we rely on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission, and the United Kingdom addendum to them.
If you would like to know more about those safeguards, write to us and we will explain them.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries sent through the contact form are kept for twenty-four months after our last exchange, unless the conversation becomes a contract, in which case it is kept for as long as that relationship and the records law requires.
Analytics is kept in aggregate for up to twenty-four months. The identifier on your device stays until you clear your browser storage or turn analytics off in the footer. Session recordings are kept for thirty days.
Web server logs are kept for thirty days. The hashed address used to rate limit the form is deleted after one hour.
7. Your rights
Wherever you are, you can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@ibyond.com and we will answer within one month.
If you are in the United Kingdom or the EEA you also have the right to ask us to restrict how we use your information, to object to uses based on our legitimate interests, and to receive the information you gave us in a portable form. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and doing so does not affect what happened before you did.
We do not make decisions about you by automated means, and we do not profile you.
8. Complaints
If you think we have handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In the United Kingdom that is the Information Commissioner’s Office. In the European Union it is the authority in the country where you live or work, and because we have an office in Warsaw you may also complain to the Polish authority, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
9. If you are in California
We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. You may ask what we have collected about you, ask us to delete it, and ask us to correct it, using the address below. We will not treat you differently for asking.
10. Children
This website is meant for people working in government, industry and enterprise. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information about them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will remove it.
11. Changes
If we change how this site handles personal information we will update this page and change the date at the top. This policy was last updated on 22 September 2026.
12. How to reach us
Write to info@ibyond.com for anything in this policy, including a request to exercise the rights described above.
